Colour Path Golf was created by Kevin Merry and John Glenn who after we met I encouraged them to look outside the confines of Golf and their areas of considerable expertise for inspiration in ways to improve the effectiveness of their management of player’s learning.

The learner’s environment has a dramatic impact on both the enjoyment and progress of any learner – whether it be a beginner, a high handicapper, low handicapper or an elite player.

Essentially Colour Path Golf is a method which allows any player of any ability, to adopt a much more simplistic approach to what is so often perceived as a complexed task. The training concept using the visual aid of colours to influence direct physical responses throughout various parts of the swing. An example would be the use of the colour red to signify where the fastest part of the swing should be in relation to the ball contact.

I have used this for years in my goal kicking coaching to help players deliver their full energy in the most controlled and efficient way. The concept has been a massive help in my coaching of Kicking in both Rugby and Soccer. Its works and puts a great deal of detail into the subconscious where it needs to be to able players to play.
